Candace Kennedy
Candace is Sales and Marketing Director for Ethnic Technologies, LLC. Ms. Kennedy has extensive knowledge and experience in the multicultural marketing trends and communities. She has helped to develop strategic marketing plans and models to help put businesses and marketers in touch with the growing multicultural markets. Ms. Kennedy has helped develop E-Tech's current corporate branding, product positioning, and advertising strategies. Ms. Kennedy has 18 years of previous experience in marketing, client services, and management. She was a member of the SAE
International for over 20 years. Ms. Kennedy holds an MBA from New York University in NYC.

Larry Moskowitz
Larry joined Global Advertising Strategies in 2007, and as head of Integration & Business Development is responsible for synergizing the agency's complete offerings with its clients' needs as well as generating new business opportunities and partnerships.
Larry's career spans nearly 20 years, his multicultural and global experiences have given him an expertise in marketing, public relations, crisis communications and consulting. Prior to joining Global Larry held the position of VP of strategic planning and new business at Kang & Lee Advertising. He has spearheaded the strategic planning for some of America's most ground breaking multicultural marketing campaigns including efforts for Western Union, Allstate Insurance, Oxford Health Plans, GSK, Novartis and AstraZeneca, U.S. Department of Treasury, U.S. Census Bureau, and the New York Times. Larry also spent over 8 years in marketing communications positions in the Greater China region, last of which was as a Director for Burson-Marsteller Public Relations, where he helped to introduce many global brands in the financial, pharmaceutical, entertainment, luxury, and fast moving consumer goods sectors.
Larry's work has often been recognized for producing effective marketing results for his clients, and he has been the recipient of such awards as the AAF Mosaic Award, the Advertising Research Foundation's 2001 Grand Ogilvy Award for Research and Planning, as well as a Gold Effie.
His expertise has been recognized by the press and his views have appeared in many publications including American Demographics, AP Wire stories, Advertising Age, MediaWeek, PR Week, Med Ad & Marketing News, Pharmaceutical Executive, Variety and the Washington Post. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Larry is a graduate of Bucknell University and has studied at National Taiwan University and Beijing University.
Alissa Akopian
Alissa joined Global Advertising Strategies in 2004 and is the Manager of Media Services and is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and buying of all traditional media. This includes all print, radio and television advertising both ethnic and mainstream.
Prior to joining Global Alissa worked as a Client Relationship Manager for Metros Media, which was one of the leading outdoor advertising agencies of Moscow. She speaks numerous languages including Armenian and Russian and has in-depth knowledge of both cultures. Her multicultural experiences offer great insight not only into the U.S. market but to the Central and Eastern European markets as well.
Alissa has a degree in Marketing & Management from the Moscow Institute of Social Communication.
Shama Shirodkar
Shama joined Global Advertising Strategies in 2006 as the Manager of Global's Interactive Services and is responsible for developing new and unique interactive and viral strategies for all Global's clients.
By working closely with Global's clients, Shama directs them to the best online solutions that will assist in growing their business to their desired target audience. With a strong focus on niche and multicultural markets Shama ensures clients have a strong and visible presence across online communities. Through a careful evaluation of campaign goals, Shama selects interactive components such as SEM (Search Engine Marketing), social media and online media buying to achieve the highest brand visibility and ROI for the client. Prior to this, Shama was Director of Business Development at Smart Information Worldwide Inc. She participated in new business opportunities within the South Asian market and assisted on various business development initiatives.
Shama began her professional career at CBA Computer Services and Broadwing Communications in 1999 and worked as a Consultant Manager for Dell in 2001. Shama is fluent in Hindi. Her international cultural and professional experiences bring a unique insight on the U.S., South Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Shama holds a B.B.A in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin.

For over two decades Polly's research focus has been on data collection methodologies for the multi-cultural markets.
Polly's corporate clients range from telecommunication companies to automotive manufacturers. She has implemented and managed large tracking studies for many Fortune 500 companies. She's worked with non-profit clients such as AARP in assisting them with multicultural outreach and has managed large health care studies for governmental agencies such as the CDC as well as for private sector health care clients. Polly also works extensively with ISA's polling clients, specializing in capturing the opinions of ethnic populations within the US.
Polly has a BA in American History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ('79) and an MA in Sociology (Applied Research) from California State University at Northridge ('92).
She is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), Marketing Research Association (MRA,), Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO) and the American Association of Public Opinion Research (AAPOR). Eric Munz
Eric Munz, the Strategic Integration Director at Language Line Services, has been in the customer communications industry for over 10 years. Sharmila Fowler is Vice-President of Business Development at Phoenix Multicultural. In addition to her responsibilities for providing strategic leadership and support on Phoenix Multicultural's consulting projects, she is also responsible for driving new business growth and is the Asian Team Leader. Sharmila offers over twenty years of expertise in marketing, sales, business development and management consulting. In addition, she has extensive experience in international and multicultural marketing. Her background spans several industries such as food, packaging, medical, pharmaceutical, automotive, high-tech and financial services. Sharmila was elected to the Board of the Asian American Advertising Federation and is a frequent speaker at multicultural and industry conferences around the country. In addition, she has been quoted in several trade journals and newspapers for her expertise in ethnic marketing. Sharmila holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategic Planning from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Computer Science/Mathematics from the University of Rochester.
